This Connecting Rod Steering Column Drop is a great-looking way to mount your steering column under the dash. The drop clamps to the tube of the column securely and can be used with any 2" diameter column as well as with 1-3/4" columns using the supplied adapter sleeve.

This drop is the "short" version and will drop your steering column 2-1/2" from the mounting point (measured from mounting point to center of steering column). If a longer drop is desired, 9161966 is available and provides a 4" drop.

Installation is as simple as clamping the column drop to the column using the supplied socket head cap screws. The column drop then attaches to a fabricated support under the dash (or other suitable mounting point).

The Connecting Rod Steering Column Drop is compatible with Speedway GM Tilt Steering ColumnsSpeedway Nostalgia columns, Hot Rod columns, our stainless steel columns, as well as your custom 2" or 1-3/4" O.D. column. Mount hole spacing is 7/8".
