installed this shifter in my 80 vette that I am running a swapped 4L80e the footprint of this shifter is un-necessarily about a half an inch to long to fit in the stock GM shifter dimple so floorboard needed to be worked, no big deal cut appropriate hole and made new piece of sheetmetal for it to live on. I chose to mount it below the sheet to get it as low as possible because with the gate located on bottom this thing is stupid tall. Think "Rat Fink" shifter tall. The mounting ears on the shifter are mounted individually with a single bolt each, once its mounted the shifter being so tall and extremely tight every time you try to select gears you have to pull it hard enough that the mounting feet rotate out of position twisting the entire assembly and screwing up your linkage alignment no matter how tight you squeeze the mounting bolts they still rotate because they are on a single pivot point. So right now your thinking my hole was cut to big giving to much room for it to rotate, and I would agree but you dont have much of an option when cutting it because of the design of the tab that you mount the linkage to sticks out the side and due to the ONLY standard head bolts on the entire assembly you cannot mount your chosen linkage adapter to the inside of the factory tab it hits the bolt square against the head stopping it from being shifted into position. Whoever thought that allen head bolts that require either a bulky socket or allen key would be easier to maneuver in a tight transmission tunnel than a regular box end wrench has never worked on a car before. Finally after having to open up the new sheetmetal I had just made and peeling it back far enough to secure the wobbly mounts with a tack weld on each one. Driving with the shifter the shift gate is not as pronounced as you would think it takes just the slightest left movement is all it needs to come out of park and reverse lockout is pretty easy to miss when your upshifting

Couldn't find what I needed but made this work. I made a mount for this and bolted it to the tail shaft with the top two bolts(4l60e). Bolted the shifter to the mount I made instead of the floor. Had to make a longer rod to go between the shifter and trans lever. Not on the road yet but it looks like everything lines up and does what its supposed to do.
