Overall Assessment

Customers highly recommend the product, praising its quality and workmanship, specifically its chrome finish and superior fit. It distinctly adds a nice touch to older models cars and street rods, enhancing their decor and significantly being noticed at shows. Users found it easy to mount with the provided allen wrench and it tightened securely, although a few found the edges of the chrome plating sharp. Despite a minor concern with the plastic insert, users still found it a great buy due to its value for money. Perfect for replacement or upgrades, it stands out for its practicality and aesthetic appeal.

This is the best shift knob deal ever!

Needed a new shift ball for my B&M Quicksilver automatic transmission shifter because the decorative disc on the stock one kept popping off and getting itself lost underneath or between the bucket seats of my '80 Calais. I've always liked Speedway and have bought their products whenever I can. This shifter doesn't thread on, it just fits down over the threaded lever and you use the provided allen wrench to install and tighten a set screw to hold it in place! I've used it for a few weeks so far and only had to retighten the screw once. Quality and Workmanship are exceptional.

Solid and looks good, but sharp edges

Installed on my dirt oval street stock as a fun touch. Easy to mount, seems solid, looks as advertised, but edges of chrome plating are quite sharp in places. Possibly enough to cut, but definitely annoying. I race with gloves, so sb ok, but I wouldn't want to use bear handed.

Works fine. Needed some file attention to sharp edges. Plastic inserts are pretty worthless. JB weld works well.
