Shimming like crazy on this starter
I can't believe you have to shim the starter from hitting the flexplate this kit takes care of it but what's up with theses starters that there that far off

These starter bolts are NOT starter bolt
The starter bolts I received are NOT starer bolts.Starter Bolts are knurled just above the threads that assist to keep starter squared when installed.. NOT USABLE a waste of the money. Sal C Pacific Performance Motors Dunedin,Fl.34698

I bought these in case we needed them, the starter fit perfectly, so we did not use the kit. This is the third request for a review, so I guess I will write a review to stop the requests. It does not seem fair to derate the product as I had zero negative experiences with it.

How many shims come with this kit? It appears 3 for the outer starter and 1 for the inner bearing shim. Don't you need equal amount of shims (1 on bearing for every 1 on starter).
