Add Our Mock Up Cylinder Heads to Your Existing SoloSwap® Short Block

Our SoloSwap® mock up engine blocks are a great resource for individual builders as well as shops looking to make engine swaps easier. They provide a lightweight solution to mocking up the engine in a car that never had said engine type from the factory. Though offered in both short block and long block variants for mock up engine purposes, many of our customers purchasing the short block version of our SoloSwap® mock up block have asked us to offer the long block's mock up cylinder heads separately for use on the SoloSwap® short block replica engines customers already own. We heard you loud and clear and you can now purchase our SoloSwap® mock up long block cylinder heads separately.

Chevy LS Mock Up Cylinder Heads Provide Complete Long Block Mock Up Needs

Our SoloSwap® LS cylinder heads come directly from our long block mock up engine block replica engines product. Meaning that these mock up cylinder heads will bolt directly to the mock up engine short block you already own with zero modifications, unlike plastic engines where the heads are molded directly into the long block plastic engine block. These mock up cylinder heads are not designed to bolt to actual production cylinder block castings, though with some modifications to the mounting bolt hole diameter and using the properly sized hardware, it may be possible to bolt these mock up heads to a production cylinder block casting if you wish. These are also not compatible with a foam engine block either. These mock up cylinder heads are sold in pairs and include mounting hardware compatible with the applicable SoloSwap® mock up short block.

I had been on the fence about buying one of these for a while. I do a build or two a year and wasn't sure I would get my moneys worth but bo did this pay off on my most recent build. I am putting a 671 blower on my LS engine in a 1972 suburban, and with this, I was able to mock up the blower, intercooler, headers, and exhaust without having the block. Kept my project moving while the block was being machined and allowed me to fit everything up so I could continue ordering accessories, radiator, etc. Really made it easy getting things in and out also. Great mock-up motor!
