An all new way to measure amps! No need to remove a fuse which reduces the amount of time to determine the current in the circuit. Finding parasitic drains can now be done without removing a fuse or resetting the offending circuit. No more pull a fuse, check the meter, pull a fuse, or check the meter. Instead check the complete fuse box quickly.
Intelligent audible tones and digital displays are featured. Active circuit unit beeps 3 times and displays the amp value. The Inactive circuit beeps continuously and displays (000). Open or blown fuses will not beep and will display (- - -).
CONVENIENT – Touch the probes to the top of the Fuse.
VERSATILE – Tests all of the most common automotive fuses types and amp ranges.
AUDIBLE – Tones lets you know when you are touching a fuse – no guesswork. Makes working on under-the-dash fuse boxes simpler. Note: Will not short a circuit while the fuse is removed.

Customers generally appreciated the product, specifically noting its unique ability to measure small current draws, a feature that sets it apart from competitors. However, some clients expressed a desire for more inclusive instructions for varied usage beyond fused circuits, implying its potential versatility. Recommending with slight reservations, clients found the product a good starting point for detecting system faults. The product was also praised for its precision, again confirming its quality.

The instructions only address using this unit across a fused circuit. My intention was to use it as part of the circuit. Therefore I'm afraid to use it the way I want to. For instance drop the hot connection off the alternator and read the amount of amps the field is drawing while static. Basically I'm looking for bleeds to the system. I suppose you can at least start looking for faults at the fuse panel, but I really wanted to start at the item and work backward isolating things item by item. But all in all it's a start. This is the first amp meter I've run across that measures small current draws, so it's somewhat a win if I don't manage to smoke it. probing circuits. I would recommend with caveats.
