Customers highly recommend our product for its reliable quality, perfect fit, and practicality in car repairs. It has been used successfully in various models, including vintage trucks and cars, for tasks like installing hydraulic brakes or converting to front disk brakes. Notable features include its steel adapter fitting, which enhances safety. This feature has helped customers avoid issues they've faced with other brands' brass fittings. It also facilitates easy brake pressure light activation and neat installations. Unique details like being able to thread directly into the master cylinder added to customer satisfaction. Despite a few cases of leakage, the product generally seems well-regarded for its part in ensuring robust and seamless brake systems.

it does fit
The adapter fitting is a 3/8" Inverted Flare Male to a 1/8" NPT. It does fit........ but be aware that it is VERY tight. causes concern that you are stripping the threads, but that is not the case. The same is true for the fitting sold separately and an alternate brand of switch. Installed this switch into the passenger side of an early Corvette Master Cylinder in a 1940 Ford. A very popular under floor alternative for early Hot Rods.

Won't buy one again
First one didn't work, second one leaked after about a week. Yes, I used Teflon tape. I'll stick to the electric, push button one's if at all possible.

The adapter was what I needed, but the threads on the brake light switch seemed not to be clean. I used my old brake light switch and it threaded in perfectly.

I lost brakes on a 65 Ranchero due to a cracked brass switch adapter fitting. This kit has a steel adapter fitting so this scary event shouldn't happen again.

I'm having an issue with the brake light switch staying on even after I turned the car off. I'm having this run right off of the master cylinder # 9106002. It runs off its own line right off the cylinder.
