This brake light switch has a male 1/8" NPT thread and includes a female 1/8" NPT to a 3/8"-24 I.F. male thread adapter so you can screw it right into an inverted flare brake fitting.
- Designed to be installed into a 3/8"-24 inverted flare female fitting
- Switch has two 1/4" wide male spade terminals
- 3/8"-24 IFM thread adapter included
NOTE: If using residual valves in conjunction with this switch, we recommend installing the switch in-line before the residual valves.

it does fit
The adapter fitting is a 3/8" Inverted Flare Male to a 1/8" NPT. It does fit........ but be aware that it is VERY tight. causes concern that you are stripping the threads, but that is not the case. The same is true for the fitting sold separately and an alternate brand of switch. Installed this switch into the passenger side of an early Corvette Master Cylinder in a 1940 Ford. A very popular under floor alternative for early Hot Rods.

Won't buy one again
First one didn't work, second one leaked after about a week. Yes, I used Teflon tape. I'll stick to the electric, push button one's if at all possible.

I lost brakes on a 65 Ranchero due to a cracked brass switch adapter fitting. This kit has a steel adapter fitting so this scary event shouldn't happen again.
