Ive known about these electric overdrive transmissions for years and I finally decided to upgrade my newest project with one. My '49 GMC 150 is the perfect candidate for the swap and this book shows you the ins and outs to the setup of the borg warner overdrive. Has wire diagrams and even gives aftermarket companies info that have replacement parts. Great reading and well worth the $$.

Installing an r10 BorgWarner Overdrive in my 1930 Model A Townsedan. I'll have 5 speeds forward. It will automatically go through the gears once in second. At 30 % less engine speed to boot.
