Carefully designed to allow tight but manageable fit. Likely, slightly easier to use in the new frame rails however they worked well on my original frame. Make sure to get lots of measurements and pics recorded before beginning so you have reference, assuring correct placement. Installed and works very well. May add sway bar.

I bought this kit for my 1939 ford coupe. I custom ordered this kit without the rear axle. The quality of the parts are impressive.

Kit looks to be well designed and heavy duty. Only problem is there is NO instructions. I understand that every car is different but there should be some general guidance as placement of the frame brackets and rear end placement. I will take detailed notes, measurements and photos and will send when I get it installed.

I am modifying a 35-40 Ford frame and will be will be narrowing the frame width at the rear axle. I need to cut the frame 18" ahead of the rear axle center line. Will I be able to install the frame brackets with this modification? What is the measurement from the rear edge of the frame four link bracket to the axle center line?
