Safely Lift Your LT Engine with Our Quick and Easy to Install BlockDock™ Full Length Lift Plate

Being able to pull your LT engine for repairs or upgrades or perhaps dropping that fresh crate engine down on the mounts of your project means two things. One, you need an engine lifting plate of some sort, and it’s time to roll that engine hoist out from the corner of your shop. Sure, you can hunt down some bolts and grab that three feet of chain dangling off your engine hoist and make it work, but wouldn’t you rather lift your LT engine in a much safer and more secure manner with an engine specific engine lift plate for your Gen 5 LT1 or LT4?

Using an engine specific lift plate guarantees that you’re lifting the engine in a location that can support the weight properly without damage like stripping bolt holes, cracking or crushing composite parts, and more. Furthermore, there is no danger from chain slippage on your engine hoist’s hook, as the bolted down engine lifting plate does not move like a chain can. Simply place your engine hoist’s hook in one of the five 1.38-inch lifting holes of the engine hoist plate to provide the proper angle required and you’re good to go. Made with 7-gauge and 10-gauge steel plate, jig welded, and satin black powder coated with a weight capacity of up to 1,000 pounds, our BlockDock™ LT engine lift plate will be the last engine lift plate you’ll ever buy for your LS.

We designed our BlockDock™ LT engine lifting plate around the preferred full length plate design, but we didn’t stop there. We added “wings” to our plate that effectively create a block off plate to the intake ports (if the heads are still installed). This means your LT’s valley area and intake ports are protected from debris if you store your engine with the lift plate in place or acts as a block off until you’re ready to install the intake manifold. Additionally, we added end plates that are just over 3-inches in height so that any loose hardware or small tools placed on top of the BlockDock™ LT engine lifting plate stay put versus rolling/sliding off the engine as it is lifted or moved around the shop. Lastly, we’re not relying on the factory valley plate fasteners to lift your LS engine either. We provide 11 M8 x 1.25 flange bolts to securely attach the LS engine lift plate to your valley plate bolt pattern. When not in use these 11 8MM bolts store securely in the threaded holes provided right in the lift plate itself.
