For Race Applications Where a Standard Upper Radiator Hose Is Not Utilized

The LS engine has been swapped into just about anything you can imagine and now it is being used for dedicated sprint car racing series, sportsman class drag racing, and other racing applications where the stock LS reverse flow water pump and thermostat housing is swapped out for the popular Edelbrock Victor Series two-piece LS water pump. This water pump uses a special housing to accept a bolt-in water pump cartridge and converts your LS to a standard rotation cooling system. The housing features a standard small block Chevy thermostat housing mounting provision that you can use to install one of our 2-port or 4-port risers to for plumbing your sprint car’s cooling system needs.

Our aluminum block off plate is made from the same materials and anodized to match our risers for a clean appearance to your race car’s LS engine. The O-ring seal provides a leak free installation, while the 1/4-NPT threaded hole in the center can used to install a cooling system bleeder, additional cooling line, or a temperature gauge sender.
