Not sure if I purchased ideal mounting style...
Mirror is a bit heavy - am okay with that based on styling and overall look but makes mounting more challenging. Tried using enclosed 3M double sided mounting pad, initially stuck but then fell off less than an hour later. Cleaned surfaces (again) and added 3M Scotch Weld Instant Adhesive to pad, then used masking tape to secure to window for 24 hours. Removed tape, but then fell off again some hours later. So, am debating options for third attempt at mounting.

Very nice mirror that needs a little wor
Very nice mirror but the new style mounting sticky pad let the mirror fall off within a minute. Don't use the sticky pad but regular mirror adhesive like all late model cars use and you will have a nice rear view mirror..

It's a good compact mirror for my 32 Ford Roadster, the only problem i had was the two-sided adhesive.pad that came with the mirror was no good, I had to mount it with Super Glue,,! .

This is a great small mirror. Finish is good. Looks nice and price is right. Could have a better mount to the windshield like the rectangular slide on style some of the larger mirrors have. Black anodized version would be cool too.

Is the mounting button separate from the mirror so the button can be mounted without the weight of the mirror pulling it loose while adhesive cures?
