Return PolicyThe ’32 Ford is no doubt the perennial hot rod. The Deuce is one of the most iconic vehicles ever built and has been the source of tens of thousands of builds over the last 90 years. Steel bodied original or fiberglass wonder, it is hard to not stop and stare at a ’32 Ford when one is spotted on the road or show field.
The ‘32’s distinctive grille shell is but one of its timeless features. The roadster model’s interior door handles are another. Their horizontal configuration, with a pull back to release design, is something many hot rod builders love and have copied on their own builds. In the past the standard interior door handles were pretty much your only choice, or some sort of universal aftermarket door handle replacement that required modifications and fabrication to work.
We’ve taken the stock style ’32 Ford roadster interior door handle assembly and recreated it in a unique aviation-themed polished billet aluminum version. The lightening holes, akin to the holes found in lightened straight axles, bomber seats, and more, provide for a distinctive and unique appearance while being a direct bolt in to the ’32 roadster (and Phaeton) doors.
Obviously, these billet aluminum interior door handles can be used in numerous other vehicles with stock or bear jaw style latches with a little fabrication work to mount the handles for custom door handles for hot rods or classic trucks. To actuate your door latches you can utilize a door latch cable and pulley system, fabricate some latch rods, or possibly use an OE latch rod for the production car latch you are planning to use in your hot rod’s door with minor tweaking. Whatever your plans are, these billet aluminum interior door handles will certainly be the eye catching replacement door handle replacement for your interior!
