Speedway Motors 91332903 Details

This power steering pump bracket mounts a stock-style GM pump to a B/B Chevy block. Must be used with a short style water pump. Mounts on the lower left side. Bracket is zinc plated with threaded shaft. Requires 1970-82 GM pump with threaded shaft.

Bracket/Pump location problem

Had to return bracket for refund due to bad design. Bracket design does NOT position pump correctly on engine. Bracket locates P.S. pump too HIGH on engine causing pump housing interferences with the stock G.M. alternator bracket & belt. Bracket should locate pump LOWER, so that pump shaft centerline height is closer aligned to the crankshaft pulley centerline height. If the pump were positioned LOWER all interferences would be eliminated.
