Our basic front disc brake conversion kit is engineered to mount 1974-80 Pinto, Bobcat, and Mustang II 9-1/4" disc brakes onto 1949-54 Chevy passenger car spindles (some machining of spindles is necessary). Mounts the caliper behind the axle and allows a minimum 13" wheel diameter.

- For use only on street rod tube or I-beam front axles when using 1949-54 Chevy style spindles intended for Model T and Model A to 1936 Ford front ends.
- Will not work with traditional style steering (no room for upper steering arm).
- Will not work with stock 1949-54 steering arms. Not to be installed on stock 1949-54 Chevy vehicle front ends.
