Baer Brakes 4301550R 11in Classic Series Front Brake System

This system features the "Original" Baer 2-piston, pad guided caliper (PGC) mounted to a 11", 1-piece slot, drill, zinc plated integral hub rotor. The PGC caliper comes in a red powder coated finish with a black logo, includes dust/weather seal's and uses the popular D412 pad type. The system includes premium bearings with races pre-installed, dust caps, mounting brackets, stainless braided hoses and all necessary hardware. The 11" "Classic" system fits select 15" or larger wheels.

**IMPORTANT: This system is designed for vehicles with a 15/16” master cylinder and proper pedal ratio. For manual brake setups, a 7/8” master cylinder can be used so less effort is required to apply the brakes. Any master larger than 15/16” will require too much pedal input to generate proper line pressure for your brake system.**

Formed as Baer, Inc. (Baer Brake Systems) in 1994, founder Hal Baer established the company from a racing background in the Corvette and World Challenge Series by identifying a gap in offerings for his own race cars. By using popular (at the time) PBR and Alcon calipers, he adapted and built complete systems (hose and fittings, etc.) for many popular domestic muscle cars.

Through their early relationships with high-profile OE prototype manufacturers and builders (such as Chrysler, General Motors, Roush, Shelby, Foose, Mark Steilow, Big Red, etc.), Baer became known as the premier domestic brake company which would later translate to being the face of the 'Pro-Touring' market segment. In the early 2000’s, Baer produced their first in-house caliper, the forged Monoblock 6S, which was soon followed by the extruded and machined 2-pc, 6P caliper. By doing this, it greatly reduced Baer's outside caliper dependencies and allowed them to focus even more on developing and manufacturing other components as well and transition from a systems integrator to full brake system builder. Baer Brakes was the official brake of the Overhaulin' TV show and in 2007, Baer was recognized by Hot Rod Magazine as "One of Twenty Companies that Changed the World and today they remain the brake system of choice for many top builders such as Roadster Shop, Ring Brothers, Goolsby Customs, etc., just to name a few. Bear’s success caught the attention of Holley Performance Brands and in 2021, Baer was acquired by them, solidifying Baer’s continued growth as an innovative leader in their space.
