The B&M Locking Transmission Dipstick was designed to allow for a quick and easy check of the automatic transmission fluid level and fluid quality by the vehicle owner/operator without having to go to the dealership. Fits 2010-19 Ford F-150 trucks with the 10R80, 6R80, 4R75E and 4R70E transmissions. Constructed of billet stainless steel fittings, steel braided hose, and black mil-spec anodized aluminum 6061-T6 cap and bracket, this rugged unit allows for both cold and warm fluid level checks and is meant to be installed in the vehicle and locked into place. Additional features include a billet locking cap with a "sure-grip" knurled finish for easy handling and features the B&M logo milled in the top of the cap, showing everyone you added a quality product and that you take care of you're vehicle. Notes: Fits 2011-14 Raptor and 2017-19 Raptor trucks.

Install requires truck to be on. I ran mine up to temp, checked the level and cut it off to do install. Didn't lose any trans fluid and didn't get burnt on exhaust.

The dipstick works as advertised. But , I think that once installed the cable is deeper into the trans than the plastic factory dipstick. So the actual reading is farther up the cable than the reading pintal.

I wish I had not waited so long to buy this.

I can easily check, add and change my transmission fluid. I would definitely buy it again. I really appreciate the simple instructions and suggestions of where to mount it. If I were to improve on this quality piece, I would make the standoff from the firewall larger and maybe a little beveled to tilt the opening away for the firewall to make it easier to insert a funnel. It is a fantastic product that gives you peace of mind, knowing that your transmission is not low on fluid.

Bought this on the chance it would work on my 2019 F250, 6.2 with the 6T100 Trans. Tough call at $210, but paid off, fits like I thought it would. Did my first drain and fill w/ new filter, 31,600 miles...easy peasy! Pricey, but quality unit.

Was told many times, "this will not fit your 2019 F250," Never did any site explain why it wouldn't fit the 6R100 Trans. The 6R80 and 6R100 are the same case, so I gambled $210 and was correct.
