    Pan measures 3 38 in. deep. This is a stock replacement, stock depth pan for the 48RE transmissions only. Pan adds 4 quarts additional capacity to all other applicable transmissions.

    I have installed several aluminum pans and the extra thickness and size means they don't fit properly like factory pans. Like most speed parts these don't fit as is. This one needed to be ground in three internal places on my 2001 Dodge Durango.
