Would you be able to attach this directly to the transmission instead of to the speedo gauge? Or do they make a 90' for that kind of application?

IT APPEARS TO ME THAT THERE SHOULD BE A .104 SQUARE MALE PIN IN THE FEMALE SIDE THAT WOULD ATTACH TO THE SPEEDOMETER. I DON'T SEE ONE IN THE PICTURE. I ALSO ASSUME THE MALE SIDE WOULD ACCEPT THE SQUARE DRIVE END FROM THE SPEEDOMETER CABLE. IS THIS CORRECT OR AM I MISSING SOMETHING? THANKS
