This LS Series water temperature sender fitting allows your aftermarket 1/8" NPT water temperature sending unit to be installed in your passenger side cylinder head.
Note: I.D. of this adapter where the sender probe will go through is .309 and would require drilling to approximately 5/16" or .312 for a Stewart Warner sender to pass through.

Perfect part & [...]low cost!
This is the only fitting to get from metric to NPT to adapt the water temp gage. If you try to use one of the head ports you will lose an input to the ECM and really screw things up! This solved the problem, Neithor Jegs or Summit had it or could help me with the problem and technical advise to avoid the ECM problem. I would have never figured it out! Thank you!

Poor quality, broke in cylinder head
The hole in the center was not drilled straight (was offset to the centerline), and wouldn't allow the sending unit to screw into the adapter. After drilling the hole straight, once I tried to tighten the adapter, it broke off in the head! I had to re-drill and tap the head, which was a HUGE pain in the rear. If I could give this negative stars, I would have.
