The Rear End Axle Adapter allows you to convert any ordinary engine stand into a powerful and versatile axle workstation. Get double duty from your engine stand! The Engine Stand Axle Adapter allows you to securely hold an axle or transaxle at a comfortable height. Pivot the axle or rotate it within it's holder to facilitate easy access to the part on which you are working or painting. Fits virtually every engine stand available. Just bolt it on and go to work!

The clamp arrangement for holding the axle tubes is poor. It should be more positive Mine loosens up and it fell out once. If they made it a c shaped hook that it could not fall out of even when loose it would be better I put a ratchet strap around it as a safety

adapter worked ok after I got it all hooked to engine stand & differential housing-a lot of moving pieces to keep together-had some issues of the adapter shifting when appling heavy force to collaspe the pinion bearing crush sleeve. I got the job done & it good to be able to turn the housing & lock it at different positions. sure beats working off jack stands.
