I have found this to be an essential component in easily assembling braided hose connections. Between this and an "assembly tool", it becomes a snap to build these assemblies. Recommend highly! ...and it is one item that you will NOT have to be frustrated with, in Aeroquip's failure to reasonably answer and handle racer customer support issues. That's a whole different issue...this product creates no concerns.
