I used this to repair a clutch line that goes to a concentric slave cylinder. The line had a hole in it outside of the bell housing leaving enough line to put in a new end fitting. This saved pulling the engine and transmission!

It is a medium difficulty to install them on the SS hose. I have found that if the feral is not seated fully and the SS braiding is not trimmed perfectly, it will leak. To redo the fitting you will need to get a new feral which mean a whole new fitting. Bottom line I do like these fittings when they don't leak.
