While there are LS swap adapters or engine crossmembers to help get an LS under the hood of most anything on four wheels, the easiest LS swap is often when one replaces a tired and worn out small block Chevy with the later Gen 3 or Gen 4 LS small block. Due to similar dimensions and architecture the main fitment issue is often mounting the LS in place of the SBC and not so much physical differences. Using LS swap motor mounts is usually all you need to get an LS bolted into place of a traditional Chevy small block like a 350.

This adjustability provides the installer with the option to set the engine back for better performance, or to allow headers or accessory drive systems to clear frame members, steering components, and more. Made from thick 3-gauge steel, these LS to SBC motor mounts bolt into place on your GM LS iron or aluminum block, converting the OEM LS four bolt setup to the earlier SBC three bolt setup, allowing you to add standard SBC three bolt motor mounts to your LS engine for an easy bolt-in engine swap. So, choose from rubber, urethane, or even solid three bolt SBC mounts (clamshell style mounts are not compatible), bolt everything up with our LS swap mounts, and you’re ready to drop in your LS engine in minutes!
