Customers appreciate the product for its high quality and practicality in keeping a 9" rear end clean during storage or transport. The perfect fit and functional color options added to the appeal, as did the strength and durability of the aluminum material used. Although a small number of users had to adjust the bolt holes, the product generally aligned well with housing studs. The overall satisfaction is reflected in numerous buyers' intentions to repurchase, recognizing the product's superior qualities compared to competing options. However, there's a suggestion for adding orientation markings for better usability.

Cool Ford 9 inch cover
Great cover to keep inside clean. Used mine during construction and routine service. Love the look and choice of colors. I did drill the bolt holes one drill size larger for easier on and off. If you have a floater this is for you.

I'm currently building a 1948 Ford F1 pickup, but the process is taking a relatively slower pace than I would like. The 9" Ford rear end housing is mocked up on the frame right now, so I had to make sure that it would be protected from the elements (ambient air, etc.). The housing cover that I ordered was thicker and more sturdy than I was expecting. I would definitely reccomend this to anyone building a slow-paced project.

When storing a 9" rear end with no third member installed, this keeps the dirt out and allows outside storage.

Perfect for transporting a roller chassis without a gear. Also good for storing a housing without a gear to keep it clean in a car or on a shelf. Wish it had orientation markings. Hard to line up so all holes are aligned with housing studs.
