Anyone who has ever attempted to remove the originals knows it ain't happening! I've read and seen several techniques to remove the spring pockets when the clips fail. What worked best for me was removing the head of the bolts with drill bits, much like you would do for removing rivets. These replacement clips are quality pieces to complete my reinstallation

Fits 4th gen nova 75-79. Used when adding subframe connectors. Original nuts will break if your car has any sort of rust. First I tried similar hardware from big box hardware store, the nuts stripped immediately. These are much higher quality and handled the torque needed to tighten. These hold the rear suspension in, need good ones and needs to be tight!

These tabs have only 2 little straps of metal at the bend. The originals were solid all the way across the bend. They will be much more prone to snapping leaving you with a bolt or multiple bolts stuck in a spot where you have no access to the back side that is just spinning with the bolt. If you can find real OEM style clips, I would highly recommend them Over these. These will definitely work but are more likely to snap in half.
