Details

This Speedway Motors steel racing oil pan is designed specifically for 1962–1967 Chevy II and Nova applications using 1986–2002 small block Chevy V8 engines, including 305, 327, and 350 combinations. Built for drag racing and high-performance use, it features a 6-quart capacity and an 8-1/4-inch deep sump to provide the added oil volume needed for hard launches and sustained high-RPM operation. Its passenger-side dipstick location and one-piece rear main seal compatibility make it an excellent fit for later small block Chevy builds installed in early Nova chassis.

Constructed from high-grade steel, this Speedway Motors oil pan uses either a black, chrome or zinc-plated finish for long-term rust resistance and a clean, functional appearance. The deep-sump design helps improve oil control during aggressive driving, while the application-specific shape is tailored to the tight engine bay of 1962–67 Chevy II and Nova models. That makes it a strong option for builders who need race-ready function with durable corrosion protection.

This oil pan is intended for serious early Nova and Chevy II drag racing builds, but there are a few fitment details to keep in mind. It is not compatible with power steering applications, and both the mounting hardware and oil pump pickup are not included. For early Chevy II and Nova projects running a later one-piece rear main seal small block Chevy, this Speedway Motors pan delivers the oil capacity, fitment, and durability needed for demanding performance use.
