Speedway Motors 7204502 Details

These 401-425 Nailhead Buick motor mount kits allow you to put that "little bit different" engine in your project. They have urethane bushings and include both the engine and frame brackets. Frame brackets must be cut to fit and welded to frame. 

Specs

  • 4-bolt mounting flange measures 4-1/2" x 4-1/2"
  • Tab extends 1-3/4" to center of mounting hole
  • Bolt holes are 3-1/4" center to center and vertical spacing is 3-1/4" center to center
  • Frame mount is 6-5/8" from center of bushing sleeve to end of weld on tab
  • Lower weld on tab extends an additional 1-1/4" further than the top tab
  • Bushing outside diameter is 1-1/2" and bushing length is 2-7/8"

I purchased a pair of these and they look great. I want to power coat paint the frame after the mounts are welded in. I am concerned about the urethane bushings melting in the process. Can the bushings be removed from the mounts without damage to accommod
