Adjustable Storage for Your Shop Tires or Spare Race Rubber

Whether you’re a drag racer, road racer, or circle track racer, you no doubt have some spare rubber stored in your enclosed car trailer. Different tire compounds, your rain tires, or just a new set of slicks ready to go, this new rubber is often stacked up in the corner of your trailer. Unfortunately, that tire stack takes up valuable floor real estate that could be used for other trackside necessities like an air compressor, tool box or other gear. Moving your spare race tires to a wall mounted tire rack not only provides a neat solution to storing your race rubber, but it clears up that floor space for those aforementioned items like a tool box or air compressor. A tire rack for trailer use is one of items you’ll wonder how you ever got along without it!

Our steel tire storage rack is just the ticket to get those tires off the ground and stored up out of the way to maximize your trailer’s storage ability. The Speedway Motors tire rack can even be used in a garage or shop for that matter as a garage tire rack to store your “shop tires” between projects, your winter tires when they’re not needed, and more. Made from 12-gauge steel end supports with 1-1/4-inch 14-gauge steel tubing, this 48-inch long tire storage rack is built to handle large and heavy tires; even mounted on wheels, making it the perfect tire rack for trailer or garage use. Plus, if you need additional tire storage, we offer a tire storage rack extension kit that can extend the left or right side (or both sides) by an additional 48-inches of adjustable storage.

Stores Tires of Varying Diameters Simply by Relocating the Rear Cross Tube

We know tire diameters are all over the place, be it left vs right side circle track tires, or front vs rear “big and littles” on your hot rod, so having the ability to adjust the wall mounted tire rack for different tire diameters was important to our engineering team. The rear cross tube can be fitted to one of three adjustment holes (without removing the side brackets) to fit tire diameters from 23- to 32-inches. Place the rear cross tube where it suits your tire diameter needs best and you’re good to go.

The end supports and steel tubes are given a satin black powder coat finish for durability and the end supports are each drilled for four 5/16-inch mounting hardware. Assembly hardware for the cross tubes is included, but you will need to source your own mounting hardware. While we do rate this tire storage rack to 400 lb. load capacity, ultimately the weight it can support will be dictated by the material it is being fastened to and the fasteners used.

Installed this tire rack in garage.I have one from tire rack also but this one is much more robust with solid support bars. Tire rack one has adjustable length support bars but not as sturdy as this one which can easily store 4 fatties. Would be ideal if the front support bar had more than one set holes like the back bar so it could move closer to wall but Not a big deal since I have the room.
