Overall Assessment

The product is a vintage-themed tachometer, a popular replacement for unavailable Sun tach models. It enhances the aesthetics of classic vehicles, maintaining a retro appeal. Installation is straightforward and quick, though some customers expressed a desire for included instructions. The tachometer is designed for compatibility with various cylinder counts, improving accuracy over competitors' products. Some materials, such as the plastic cup and bezel, raised minor quality concerns. However, customers are satisfied overall with the product's functionality, appearance, reliability, and value for money. They recommended it for those seeking the nostalgic look and performance for their vintage vehicles.

Great working and accurate Tach

I bought a Summit Racing brand tach, and it was junk. I then purchased another brand from NAPA and it was no good as well. The Speedway Tach has a switch for the # of cylinders that you select for the # of cylinders the engine has and the other tach's did not. I think that is why the other tach's were inaccurate garbage. I will purchase this tach again for future projects. Great Quality Product!!

Defective Fastener

Havent even had the chance to use the tach because the fastener nut in plastic junk. It was not printed correctly and wont thread into the housing. Its too small for the hole in the housing.

The closest tacometer to the old sun tacometer we use to use back in the day, I put the stars and stripes kit on after preparing the tacometer and painting it Royal blue on the back and it is as close to a Daxco old Big Daddy as you can get, it works great looks great and Speedway motors has always had every thing that I've needed for my 2 Rat Rods.
