Overall Assessment

Customers appreciate the product's quality, pointing out the good craftsmanship and its perfect fit as a replacement part. Many laud it as a good value for the price, drawing attention to its impressive sturdiness and the convenience of receiving it in bare metal, ready for personal customization. It garnered repeat purchase intent, with customers stating they wouldn't hesitate to buy again. However, some customers reported occasional issues with component fitting. Its positive reception surpasses some competitive brands given its superior features, including the option to add preferred components and paint in one's desired color. However, the lack of pre-installed bushings and ball joints, and some sizing discrepancies with holes, was critiqued.

Impressive lower control arms.

These are nice, heavy control arms. They arrived in bare metal and with no bushings/ball joints, which is how I ordered them. They're perfect for me since I wanted to use components from PST and paint them to match the rest of my suspension/steering. The only thing I don't like, that won't matter to most, is they came pre-drilled for bump stops. Early 67' Camaro's don't have all of these holes like 68-69 do. Not a big deal - just welded them up. Buying and starting with these is so much better than starting with an old hacked up original.

Speedway Is Great But I Wouldn't Buy Anything From HRP

My 68 Camaro needs lower control arms. I was planning on replacing the bushings and lower ball joints so I already had them when I realized the control arms themselves needed replacing. These control arms looked perfect because they do not come with pre-installed bushings and ball joints. The arms arrived bare metal which is ok, cleaning and painting them was easy. One hole for one of the bushings is too large and I can see daylight around the bushing. Not good. The same hole on the other control arm fits the bushing properly. I pressed in OER ball joints and one fell out in my hand. So that hole size is not right either. Now I do not trust my car or my safety with these arms and I have to buy new ones again. This time I will buy new control arms with the bushings and ball joints already installed. I see a previous review that the manufacturer intends the bushings (and probably ball joints too) to be tack welded in. I am definitely not going that route where I would have to break welds the next time these bushings need to be replaced. Also these control arms do not have the little welded on steering stop knob that other (and original) control arms do.

I ordered a driver side (left) lower a-arm for my 69 Camaro and they mistakenly sent the passenger side (right). I called customer service and they were fantastic. They sent a new left side a-arm right away and at a discounted price. Unfortunately this one was defective. The bushings dropped right in loosely. I have not even called to rectify this situation as it just happened on the weekend. I'm sure they will make it right. Just sets back getting my car put together.

This fit exactly as it should have and was an exact duplicate of my original made over 43 years ago. The price is fair and shipping was super fast. I will definitely be ordering from Speedway again !
