We all know early C10 pickups aren’t the smoothest ride. These trucks were built when trucks did truck-like things and not haul a family of five in leather clad and air conditioned comfort like trucks do today. That said, why make things worse with a solid mount design or even something stiff like polyurethane. Our 67-72 C10 LS swap motor mounts adapter brackets are designed to use the included OEM-style 1998-2002 Camaro/Firebird F-body 5.7L LS motor mounts in this kit. Adding our bolt-in transmission crossmember makes this a complete LS engine and transmission swap solution that is headache free.
Designed To Use Factory LS Engine Mounts for A Perfect Fit and A Great Ride
These factory style LS engine mounts bolt directly to your LS engine block and then our 7-gauge steel adapter brackets mate these OEM-style mounts to your C10’s frame using existing holes. There is no drilling, grinding, welding, or fabrication work involved. Just bolt everything up and drop your LS in! When you consider the quality of these adapter brackets and OE-style rubber LS engine mounts for the price, nothing comes close to getting your LS engine installed for less! They are the perfect starting point for your LS swap kit C10 project.
These LS swap engine mounts adapters are designed, manufactured, and assembled right here in Speedway Motors’ facility to ensure the best fit, quality, and performance for your LS swap dollar. These adapters are powder coated black for longevity and include premium mounting hardware to attach the adapters to your C10’s frame with locknuts and washers for security, along with the motor mount through bolts with lock nuts. The LS engine mounts in the kit do not include the fasteners to secure these LS engine mounts to your LS engine block, but we do offer the LS engine mount fasteners separately if you need them for your LS swap installation.
Mount Just About Any Transmission You Can Think of With Our Bolt-in Crossmember
The kit’s transmission crossmember is the perfect compliment to our LS motor mounts adapters. Built in-house using 10 gauge steel that is laser cut and fully welded for strength and powder coated black for great, long lasting looks. The included frame boxing plates bolt to existing frame holes on your C10 and can be inverted to provide a 1/2-inch in mounting height offset to get the perfect driveline angle. Slots in the boxing plates allow for front-to-rear adjustment as well, providing a bolt-in mounting solution for nearly any transmission application you can mount to an LS engine. All hardware is included to install the crossmember and we provide generous room for the routing of up to 3-inch exhaust tubing for your dual exhaust installation to provide plenty of exhale ability for your LS no matter how low your C10 sits.
