Adding a splash of carbon fiber to your classic muscle car is the perfect way to bring some modern styling into your ride while saving weight and even adding strength! From carbon fiber hoods and bumpers, to complete body panels like fenders and doors, there are carbon fiber products for many of your favorite classic ’60s muscle rides. Many of these carbon fiber parts require trimming/fitment for installation, or even painting to match. However, we have made it easy to add that cool carbon fiber appearance with a direct-fit bolt-on product that will catch everyone’s eye with our new carbon fiber chin spoiler for 1967-1968 Camaro and Firebird models. 

Real Carbon Fiber Construction 

We manufacture these high-quality carbon fiber chin spoilers in-house, so fit and finish is assured. Beginning with HexForce™ 284 2x2 twill weave carbon fiber fabric we hand lay the material up in our precision mold using Stypol® resins and HK Research’s HydroShield® high-quality marine-grade clear gel coat finish that can easily be “cut and buffed” to a show-winning finish. For enhanced strength we use two layers of the carbon fiber fabric with 1-ounce chopped fiberglass mat sandwiched between them. This provides for a superior product with real carbon fiber exposed surfaces. 

Bolt-on Installation with NO cutting 

These chin spoilers are molded for an exacting fit and provide that modern updated look many “restomod” builds are itching for. With no cutting or other modifications to your F-body you can have this chin spoiler mounted in short order; and because it is made from real carbon fiber material and not a vinyl-wrapped plastic part or a carbon-look hydrographic, it is stronger and lighter than a typical steel or even ABS plastic chin spoiler. We have provided indents for the factory fastener locations that require a simple opening with a drill bit once you have lined everything up.

We've made this chin spoiler to the exact dimensions of the original "D80" spoiler option that was available for any '68 Camaro (the original D80 spoiler wasn't available for 1967 Camaro or on Firebirds, but you can easily add it).
