- For 1965-1990 Big Block Chevys with dipstick on the passenger side
- This pan is 8" deep at the sump.
- The sump extends about 9-1/2" forward from the back of the pan
- Dipstick tube is in the pan and is on the RH / passenger side
- fits 1965-1990 engines with 2 piece rear main seal.
- Will not fit Gen V and Gen VI Enignes

Would not fit in my 1965 Chevelle using factory big block mounts and engine perches. Stock 396 & heads and 4speed muncie. Oil pan would not clear the crossmember. Oil pan did come nicely packaged and the chrome looked off decent quality though.

Pan fit was good. The holes were not perfectly aligned on one side but was able to get bolts started with a little finesse. Otherwise fit and finish were good. I think the metal should be a gauge or two thicker, but for the price...right on the money.

When changing from the truck style oil pan to the passenger vehicle pan like this one, do I have to change the pickup? I'm putting a 454 out of a 1975 chevy pickup into an a-body GM frame. The pan on the motor is the truck style and will not fit into the car. Will my oil pickup that Is on the motor work with this pan, or do I need to change that as well?
