1955-64 Chevy Stock Spindle Aluminum Disc Brake Kit

This 1955–64 Chevy Stock Spindle Aluminum Disc Brake Kit (91096002) is a front disc conversion package built to bolt onto OEM full-size Chevy passenger car stock spindles (Bel Air, Biscayne, Impala, 150/210 Series—1955–57 and 1959–64), giving you modern disc braking while keeping the factory spindle foundation. It’s designed around the common 11" GM midsize rotor + GM metric caliper combination and uses an aluminum bracket system to mount everything correctly.

The kit is not compatible with dropped spindles and has a known exception for a specific 1958 OEM spindle that has a fitment issue. It’s intended to work with disc-brake-friendly 14" wheels and most 15" or larger wheels, and it will increase track width about 3/8" per side (3/4" total). The package includes the key wear and install parts—rotors, bearings, seal, pads, hoses, banjo hardware, dust caps, and calipers—so you can convert in one shot without piecing together a shopping list.
