Overall Assessment

Customers have praised the product, particularly highlighting its great quality, easy installation, and complete kit providing all the necessary parts. The product stood out for its practical use in a variety of vehicles, notably the 1956 F100 and 1954 g100 models. Reviews also emphasized the product's decent quality, especially the induction hardened and ground pins, and firm white felts. Users have found the parts necessary for vehicle rebuilds and brake installations, and while the kit requires some additional tools and adjustments, customers still highly recommend it.

Everything you need except the reamer.

You will need a reamer in order to complete the job. I did not know this before and ended up buying my parts again. Destroyed the bushings in the first set and there is no where that sells the bushings separately. The bushings are over-sized to compensate for wear in the axle areas. You will need a hand reamer size 0.861 in order to cut bushings to proper size for the new king pin.

I ordered this for a 1959 F100 with the 2" dropped axle. This king pin set is the same for my application with the exception of the grease fitting hole in the bushing. I drilled a hole in to bushing to align with the grease fitting. Other than that one extra task everything fit as expected.

Took the play out of the front king pins. The bushings installed perfectly and after some honing work and patience everything fit together snug.

Seems there should be an exact replacement to avoid extra spending just to make them fit the vehicle.

This is a pretty decent kingpin setup. It's not nos level quality but the pins are induction hardened and ground. The felts are nicer than other repops I've seen. They're a firm white felt vs the soft and fluffy washers some come with. Biggest issue I had was the stamped tin washers that hold the felts are wrong. They must have used ones for the early Ford 0.812 dia kingpins. I had to bore them out to fit on the kingpins. You'll either have to do the same or reuse your original ones. Hopefully this gets addressed. The thrust bearings seem smooth but don't have any identifying numbers so I'm not sure who made them.
