This will not replace the original taillights although pictures give the impression it will. Do not buy this item on the premise that it will replace the stock items. If they are going to be used in the stock opening its size must be reduced by cutting, welding in metal pieces, drilling and refinishing the area. This is not something most people want to do and no mention of the necessity in any of the advertisements or descriptions.
