Sending Adapter

If you have a 1936-1956 Ford car or pickup with a big 6 hole fuel sending unit, how do you put an aftermarket 5 hole sending unit in your tank? Simple. Use this adapter plate. Hardware included.

  • 5-hole mounting pattern for new style sending unit has one spacing at 1.38 " and the remaining four at 1.25 "
  • 6-hole spacing going clockwise is 1-9/16 ", 1-3/16 ", 1-7/16 ", 1-3/16 ", 1-7/16 ", 1-5/16 " for the stock type pattern

 

Fuel Sender

These sending units are also included in our 910-65042 fuel level gauge kit. They will work in tanks from 6" to 24" deep and can be used as a right hand or left hand swing unit with minor adjustment.  This fuel sender comes with a seal and all mounting hardware. 

  • 240 ohms empty, 33 ohm full
  • Adjustable depth from 6" to 24"
  • Right or left hand swing
  • 2-3/4" flange OD
  • Overall Length: 15.50"
  • Includes sealing gasket and mounting hardware
