Very Nice Piece that
One thing I love about thirties Fords is how proud the company was of their V8 engine back in those days! When I set out to build a period correct 29 Roadster with a 32 shell up front I knew I wanted to mount a v8 emblem to my headlight bar! I have been trying to use original parts whenever I can, but was having a hard time finding an unbroken v8 emblem. I was happy to find this one at Speedway and the best part is the price! I knew going in a bright shiny emblem would not fit the build and would stick out like a sore thumb, so I had to work mine over to give it the right look! I did everything to it except bury it in the back yard, but I am really happy with the look! Best part is because of the price I didn't feel bad banging it around in my rusty box of bolts to age it! This is a great piece at a great price and would recommend it to anyone needing one!

This emblem is simply amazing. It is solid & heavy, and flawlessly chromed. I'm not even installing it in a car, using it as a nostalgia piece in my auto "stuff" collection. The price is incredible, too - I had previously bought another that I was led to believe was solid chrome, when in fact it was chrome-over-ABS, for the same price. Boo to that one. HOORAY for this one!
