Nice bolts, but a bit short

I suppose these are reproductions of original bolts, including the length, which is probably perfect for steel fenders. But they're a little short if you're using fiberglass fenders. The headlight bar, fenders and fender braces need to lie perfectly flush against each other in order to get the nut started on the bolt. I found I had to leave the lock washer off in order to get full thread engagement on the nut. If the bolts were slightly longer (1/4"?) it'd make it much easier to install and draw everything together. It should be noted that these are special bolts designed for the headlight bar. The head is angled slightly and the oval shoulder (not square like a carriage bolt) is higher on one side than the other. The head fits the headlight bar perfectly and matches its nice finish.

I was pleasently suprised at the quality of these bolts. Like all of the merchandise i have purchased from Speedway the head light bar bolts were show car quality.
