Overall Assessment

Customers appreciated our product for its robust built, flexibility, accuracy of dimensions, and affordability. Despite its rigidity, it can be easily modified, demonstrating its adaptability. A major highlight is its durability, having served users well even over long usage periods. However, there were remarks concerning the uniformity of its thickness and body line alignment, causing occasional fit issues for some users. Additionally, a few customers mentioned dissatisfaction over the quality of the gel coat. Overall, though, its practicality and longevity make it a recommended product.

It is well made, and dimensions are accurate. It was a little too long for my application, but I was able to cut it down a little on each end with a jig saw to make it fit. It has the right combination of rigidity and flexibility. This one was to replace one I got over 30 yrs ago. It blew off while being towed and was run over by a truck. I could have probably tried patching that one (it survived amazingly well), but I ended up going with the deuce grill shell anyway, so this fits better. I would like to see a simple and affordable way to mount these developed. All I used previously was Velcro at the firewall, and locking gate hooks with eyelets at the front !

the hood is not uniform in thickness so the fit is something to be desired...I called tec before I bought it to get height measurements front and rear and was told if it was a 1930 with a 1932 grill shell it would fit....well it does fit but the body lines do not match the hood is 3/4" too tall....I have the original hood and sides and bought the glass one to cut out for the scoop so I could change back and forth....it works ok, but not as well as I would like, not a show quality part, but cheep enough to cut up and keeps the rain off...Im upset with tec for not giving me the measurements to make sure it would fit properly, but its worth buying dePending what you are going to do with it.
