1928-29 Ford Model A Fiberglass Front Fenders

I would buy this item again.

The fiber glass fender was fine except a few small air bubbles left 4 small dimples on the top.

Definitely not just drill holes and bolt on. Required cutting and grinding and adding some fiberglass matt and fiberglass jelly back to the front fenders Where they meet the splash apron to get the right contour. No complaints. Just be aware 👍

Good fenders for the money. Look nice on the car.

If you buy be aware that this is not a straight bolt on item, you will have to make a few modifications to make them fit properly. Not hard, just need to know how to work with fiberglass. All is good, just a few hrs. to make the fit for may car.

Excellent Fenders.......with some very minor issues

I ordered a driver's side front fender for a 1929 Model A Coupe. As is typical of all Speedway orders, it arrived very quickly.....but in a huge, semi-crushed box with virtually no padding. I was nervous about what I would find inside, but other than some scuff marks, the fender was in good shape. The leading edge of the fender was not well finished and there was a 6" area over the running board splash panel that had not been trimmed (apparently this is intentional, but for no reason that I can fathom, since the untrimmed area has no gel coat). Speedway accepted responsibility for the problems and quickly resolved the issues to my satisfaction. The fender is now installed and looks great. If you can handle the possibility of very minor issues, I would strongly recommend these fenders as an economical alternative to their steel counterparts.

Fairly Well-Made Replica

I recently ordered a driver's side front fender for my 1928 Model A Pickup, and it arrived very promptly (as is typical of all Speedway orders) in a huge, partially crushed and beat-up box that I was nervous to open. The fender was fine.....however there were some issues with the trimming that had (and had not) been done before shipment. I contacted Speedway and they quickly rectified the problem to my satisfaction. I primed, painted, and installed the fender shortly thereafter and I doubt that anyone could tell that it was not metal without a magnet or very close inspection (underneath, where the glass fiber texture is visible).
