I am using a 28 grill shell on my 27 roadster body. Will the front of the 27 T hood top fit the 28 grill shell? If not, will it take a lot of work to make it work? The glass body is a Speedway body. The length of the hood top is just right. My concern is the front radius of the front 28 grill shell.

How long is this hood? My 27T has been lengthened approximately 4" in the engine bay to accomodate a V8 engine. The spec's say 30.41" The answer to one of the questions states 31.5" 30.41" is too short for me, but 31.5" will work. Which is it?
