First one was unacceptable, waiting for a replacement
The 26 inch Hot Rod Column rotation was stiff, notchy and there was an audible clunk noise in the upper bearing. We've used a couple of these in the past with no problem, they're actually a real bargain and past examples have been great -- but this one was not. No problem returning, Speedway sent me a shipping label, but it did hold up progress on my roadster. I'll change the star rating if the new one is a good one.

Super simple bearing are very smooth there is nothing that keeps the bearing in place at top of shaft near steering wheel and it slips into tube. I will peen in place once I pull it out of the build but overall can't beat it for the price

Stainless resists scratches way better than I expected it to. Steering wheel mount was a nice diameter that I was able to adapt a 57 turnpike cruiser wheel on to.
