The product, commonly used for vintage or modified vehicles, stands out for its high quality, durability, and practicality. Many customers commented on the excellent quality of the parts and how well they work, even in various custom applications. They also appreciated its versatile mounting options, either bolted or welded, to adapt to different car models. Reviews mention that the kit provides great performance in both disc and drum systems, even though some fabrication may be required for a perfect fit. Despite calls for clearer instructions, customers generally found the assembly straightforward. However, a few users noted that the kit’s hardware might need some adjustment depending on the vehicle’s specific configuration. Safety and reliability were highly praised, with users often recommending the product over competing alternatives. Despite some minor issues, the product was overwhelmingly praised and repeatedly purchased by a number of customers.

Extremely Heavy Duty Construction
I'm currently installing this brake unit in a 1928 Model A Pickup and am quite impressed by the extremely heavy duty construction of the brake unit......3/8" gold-anodized steel. So far, although the firewall and floorboard areas are extensively modified, I've been able to install the unit successfully. Only one drawback......the link provided between the pedal unit and master cylinder is way, way too long. Even if you screw the actuating rod completely into the heim joint, the pedal end of the brake lever is so far forward it almost touches the master cylinder. I will now have to fabricate a proper-length rod to complete the installation.

Poor design
Had to wait due to Backorder. When arrived I found the clevis and pushrod were 1/2 inch out of line with the bore of the master cylinder. Had to modify pedal and mount in order to align pushrod into master cylinder. Poor manufcturing

Everything came as advertised. I like the resources Speedway has for installation info. I wish they had a bigger YouTube presence, but I also realize that with such a broad spectrum of products offered, there's no way they could cover it all.
