This 1950s style beehive oil filter housing has finned aluminum construction which dissipates heat and looks trick! Easily disassembles for cleaning or inspection. Adapts easily to most engines with canister type filters.
Beehive mounting brackets are sold separately.
NOTE: Lid gasket 910-15191G is suggested when purchasing a replacement canister filter element 910-51006.

Installed oil filter on my 40 mercury and works and looks good! Has the restriction so it doesn't lower oil pressure

It looks great, but not perfect inside! The hole in bottom where the pipe is connected has about 3dgr angle, so i need to bend the pipe so the pipe can hit the hole in top cover. The pipe itself is too short. It means if i mounting the pipe in bottom, then it doesnt reach the nut in top. Need to turn out the pipe, and then fit the top cover with just a few trades in each end of the pipe.
