Recommended Press Fit for press-in wheel stud

Tech Tip: If nearest standard drill bit is too small, you will need to use an appropriately sized reamer to enlarge the drilled hole until it is within the tolerance for the desired press fit.

GREAT DRILL BIT, VERY SHARP & STRONG
DRILLED OUT MY HUBS 20 STUD HOLES AND BEFORE THAT, I DRILL OUT MY 1" SNAP ON SCOCKET SO THAT MY LONGER WHEEL STUD WILL FIT. NEVER GOT DULL.

Drill bit was bent
Bit was bent. Drilled five holes in my rotor and the holes were too big. Studs fell in without needing to be pressed. rotor was secured in a vice on my drill press. so it wasnt the result of my equipment. Ruined a new rotor. Tried to tack weld the studs but weld wont stick to the rotor material. Now I have five junk studs and a junk rotor. Spend the extra money and buy a better bit is my recommendation. Ive never had an issue with any other item from Speedway.

I needed to put some larger studs in two rotors n this bit went through the rotor with ease all ten were easily handled with a little wd40 on the tip and it didn't slow the press down or bind. Very nice.
