Billet aluminum cap and base. Weld or screw to your valve cover, oil tank or rear end. Knurled cap with O-ring seal.
Tough to use it as a weld on cap when the holes are already in the flange. I had to machine the flange off in order to make a nice weldable assembly.
VALVE COVER OIL FILL SINCE VALVE COVERS DONT HAVE ENOUGH HOLES.
Valve cover oil fill. This has the 'old aircraft equipment used on hot rods of the forties' feel to it. Perfect for any fill opening application. Great stuff!
I installed these on a pair of tall cast aluminum valve covers on my small block Chevy. There were holes for breathers, but none for an oil filler.I drilled a 1.25" hole at the opposite end of the covers at the same relative location as the breathers, drilled and tapped three 6-32 screw holes for securing with ss screws.I then carefully smeared epoxy on the bottom of the flange, screwed them down, and bingo!I did this to both covers so they would match.Finish exactly matched the covers.Great stuff!
install on valve cover very easy to install
