Overall Assessment

Customers are highly satisfied with our product's top-notch quality, practicality, and features. They appreciate its applicability for shifter rods and tie rods in vehicles and go-karts. Despite its thin-wall construction, users note that it bends easily which protects spindles and wheels during racing. It's also easy to adapt, with customers able to rethread one end to fit specific needs or cut for exact length. Some users had to make slight modifications; however, they still rate the product highly. They laud the clean look provided by the anodizing and highlight its strength and solidity, confirming its great performance in challenging conditions, such as in demo derby transmissions.

Works well.

I have used this on my TH400 demo derby transmission. I got a new one after bending the one I had last year. The old one still worked, but was causing the shifter to catch some. It bent because the hole I had cut for it was not big enough and part of the body/floor got pushed into it.

good Quality and finish

I had to shorten slightly but was concerned about a small groove about 2 inches from one end that was cast or machined around rod as being a weak point. Groove was coated over so it was in there before finish was applied

Product is great for shifter rods but even better for making tie rods on go karts. Thin wall construction bends easy, thus saving spindles and wheels during contact while racing.
