Return PolicyIf you are running metric spindles on your race car, you know how easily the steering arm bends. You also know they are getting hard to find, and expensive.
These spindle savers are IMCA approved, built to last and are held in place by the ball joint and tie rod retaining nuts. They simply reinforce the steering arm portion of the spindle allowing you to get in more nights of racing. Fits most 1979-Up GM metric spindles (provided they are not bent already). Sold as a pair.

Customers appreciate the product, noting it's a great idea and provides desirable results, eliminating the need for additional spindles. The installation process is relatively straightforward, albeit some adjustments might be required concerning the castellated nut or spindle. While some haven't put these on yet, those who have report it's easy to set-up and fits well. Several customers would buy it again, indicating high satisfaction. The product stands out for its practicality, quality, and economic advantages compared to its competitors.

Installs relatively easy, but must use a thinner castellated nut or grind down spindle. Otherwise you can't install cotter pin due to additional thickness of spindle saver. Anxious to see if they help.

Do you have to drill a new hole in the ball joint for the cotter pin to fit? It seems that the thickness of the saver would prevent the hole from lining up.

measurements I know these are for metric spindles, but is there any way to find out what is the measurement is from hole to hole. I would like to know if these would fit the older GM spindles? I have two sets of spindles and they are both different length from center of lower ball joint to center of tie rod. thank you.
